Boston: A specialist in scientific cloud computing for the Life Sciences industry plans to expand its Global Capabilities Center (GCC) in Hyderabad to not only support its global customers but also customers within pan-India.
The announcement was made after the meeting between the management team, led by Mr. Kshitij Kumar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer and Minister for IT, Industries and Municipal Administration of Telangana KT Rama Rao.
Mr. Jayesh Ranjan IAS, Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce Dept.; Mr. Shakthi M Nagappan, Director Lifesciences; Mr. Sandeep Sharma, Founder & CEO of Summit Consulting Services were also in attendance.
“I am delighted to know that decided to establish its India center in Hyderabad. This will be their first center outside of their Headquarters in Boston, USA and they will be investing around INR 100 crores over the years and hire 100-150 employees to begin with” said K.T Rama Rao, the minister for IT, industries and municipal administration of Telangana. “They aims to do advanced bioinformatics and big data analytics work from their Hyderabad center. The Lifesciences and Pharmaceutical sector is increasingly adapting to digitalization across all functions and with Hyderabad emerging as the “Health-Tech Mecca” of the world, we are continuing to witness large number of companies choosing to establish their presence here.”
Founded in 2019, provides services and solutions that allow scientists to focus on science and accelerate drug discovery and approval times. At the intersection of science and technology, specializes in architecting, building, automating, and managing high-performance applications, scientific workflows and clinical data solutions using cloud computing technologies.
